Welcome to Mrs. Thomas's Home Page
Krueger School of Applied Technologies (KSAT) 8K High-Powered Rocketry Students will continue to incorporate concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to complete inquiry-based engineering design projects and challenges. They will compete in the national Team America Rocketry Challenge, build three high-powered rockets (Red Hornet, Mini Yeller, and Mark Twain II), one of which is an atmospheric sounding rocket. In these projects, students will increase their knowledge and understanding of rocketry design principles. They will posses the ability to think in complex ways, work as a team, and use effective communication and problem-solving skills to meet each challenge and the requirements of each project.
