All classes will be producing shows, commercials, PSAs, sport highlight videos, iReports for CNN and documentaries. All students will have the chance to compete in national and local contests. Advanced students wil compete in at least one competition each semester. ILPC and UIL contest for school newscasts, video editing, sport highlights, feature stories, general news stories. Last year my students won 10 UIL medals for being the best in the state.

We will do five projects each semester. We will start with basics and add advanced techniques as we progress. Each project we will be designing for a variety of audiences and needs. Second semester will add special effects and motion graphics and music creation.

You will be learning to edit using Adobe CS3 Master Suite which contains everything you need to create video, sound, graphics and animations.

We will also produce the lunchtime announcements!
