I am an intervention specialist/ behavior consultant, a member of the iTeam (intervention team). 

iTeam  analyzes difficult student behaviors within a school setting in order to facilitate remediation of the difficult student behaviors through implementation of specific strategies to include modeling, peer-coaching, development of additional individualized plans and/or contracts,etc.

 iTeam works with students, teachers, and school systems to insure that  students are educated in the least restrictive placement possible to meet that , student's needs.  As an  intervention team member I may serve  as a behavior coach or behavior consultant. Strategies which may be used are: direct teaching, modeling, role-playing, implementing positive behavior supports, life-space interviewing, establishing consistency, determining pieces of the behavior chain, etc.
