Welcome to Mrs. Robin Greiner's Website and to Robert E. Lee High School!

Our Life Skills Program (through Special Education and the ALE program) believes that EVERYONE LEARNS! We are dedicated to your student and to our community. Daily Activities are designed for maximum participation and independence.

For the 2008-2009 school year, Mrs. Greiner will be the Functional Academics ALE Teacher. Communication and Language Skills are the foundation of the classes ALE Math and ALE Language Arts. Your student's IEP INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION PLAN Goals and Objectives are developed for YOUR student's unique needs and growth.

We will be using additional units and lesson plans based on your student's GRADE level for more specific access to the general education TEKS objectives. TAKS-ALT was used for ALE program students as the required No Child Left Behind Assessment. The teachers collected data on a wide variety of tasks we design for your individual student based on the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) for your student's GRADE level. We modify activities and responses with cues and prompts specifically for your student's success and functional skills. TAKS-ALT will be updated for this school year.
