Much of the homework in English will consist of doing the outside reading, studying for tests, and participating on the online discussion boards. Sometimes there will also be written assignments that must be completed outside of class. If a student does not finish a class assignment, that assignment may have to be completed at home; however, it will not be marked as homework on the calendar or in my gradebook.
