Provide growth assessments for all students -
Perform hearing and vision screenings for all students -
Provide dental screenings for 3rd graders -
Coordinate and dispense medications for students daily and as needed -
Provide care for a variety of illnesses and accidents for both students and staff -
Monitor and maintain immunization records -
Act as a resource for faculty, parents and staff -
Identify possible health problems for early evaluation and treatment by a physician -
Serve as a liasion with parents, physicians, and community agencies to provide medical care and assistance to students in need -
Evaluate communicable diseases and strategies to prevent spread of disease in school -
Maturation information classes for 4th and 5th graders -
Provide HIV information classes for students in the 5th grade -
