I am proud to be a native San Antonioian and while I have had the opportunity to live in many locations, I am most proud about Texas! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin but must say that my blood is maroon, since I grew up the daughter of an Aggie and have a family of Aggies. My early career background was in Child Development and for many years I was the Director of a Child Development Center within our own community. While I loved that career, several years ago, I switched careers and came to Robert E. Lee High School as a Family Consumer Science teacher. I love it here at Lee! My experiences in career, education, and life have given me the foundation and the empathy to work with young people of any age.
