2008-09 school year begins August 27, 2008
Registration begins around August 1.

Pre-Kindergarten registration is for children who:
· turn age 4 by September 1, 2008
· qualify according to federal eligibility guidelines (based on language and/or income).
Items needed for registration:
· Parent or Legal Guardian must register the student.
· Proof of Residency—current lease for an apartment or current utility bill for a house is acceptable. (A driver’s license or a checkbook will not be accepted as proof of residency.)
· Legal state issued birth certificate. (Hospital issued certificate will not be accepted, per state mandate.)
· Immunization records—(records must be current.) Metro Health District, 332 W. Commerce, (210)270-8898, Immunization clinic, 4020 Naco Perrin, (210)207-5000.
· Student’s Social Security card or State ID.
